Terms of Use

These terms apply when you use the JRD Dance Media Auto Tracker service ("the Service") to upload a video and receive an auto-tracked version. By ticking the consent box and uploading, you agree to them.

1. What the Service does

The Service takes a single locked-off, wide stage video that you upload and automatically produces a cropped, "follow-cam" version that tracks one dancer, which we deliver to you by email.

1a. What "AI-automated" means

The follow-cam version is produced automatically by an AI model. There is no human editor involved in the standard service. The AI watches your footage frame-by-frame, identifies the dancer to follow, and crops in around them. Performance depends on how clearly the AI can see and track the dancer in your footage — clear, well-lit solo performances are typically tracked well in the majority of cases. Brief tracking errors (e.g. the AI momentarily drifting before re-acquiring the dancer) are inherent to automated systems and are not grounds for a refund.

2. Solo performances only

The Service is designed to follow one dancer. It is intended for solo performances only and is not suitable for duos, trios or troupes. If you upload footage with more than one dancer, the result may not track the intended performer, and that is not grounds for a refund.

3. Your video and your rights

You must own your footage or have the right to upload and have it processed. You confirm that:

  • you are the parent/guardian of the dancer, or otherwise have permission to upload the footage; and
  • the video does not contain anything unlawful or infringing.

You keep all rights in your footage. We do not claim ownership of your video or the processed result.

4. Requirements and limits

  • Maximum length: 8 minutes. Maximum file size: 3 GB. Standard video formats only.
  • 4K is strongly recommended. Because the Service crops in to follow the dancer, footage below 4K can come back looking soft or blurry. We do not artificially enhance footage — a lower-resolution upload is returned at a correspondingly lower quality, and this is not grounds for a refund.
  • Best results come from a fixed, wide camera position.
  • Tracking results depend on the source footage. The AI works best with clear, well-lit solo performances; unusual costumes, low light, or low-contrast staging can affect accuracy.

5. Pricing and payment

The price shown is $10 per video, inclusive of GST. Payment is taken at the time of order. Valid discount codes may be applied at checkout. A retry of a failed job is never charged again.

6. Delivery and turnaround

We deliver your finished video by email as a download link. Turnaround varies with demand — at busy times it can take longer — but you'll usually receive your link within an hour. Turnaround times are an estimate, not a guarantee.

6a. Download window

The download link expires 36 hours after it is sent. After that, the video will need to be repurchased. Please download and save your video promptly.

7. If something goes wrong

If processing fails, we automatically retry your job. If you still have not received your video, contact us at accounts@jrddancemedia.com and we will help.

8. Acceptable use

You agree not to upload unlawful, infringing, or inappropriate content, and not to misuse, overload, or attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Service.

9. Liability

The Service is provided "as is". To the extent permitted by law, and except for any rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot be excluded, JRD Dance Media is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of the Service.

Privacy Policy

This policy explains how JRD Dance Media handles your information when you use Auto Tracker.

What we collect

  • Your email address, so we can send you your finished video.
  • The video you upload, so we can process it.
  • Payment is handled by our payment provider (Stripe); we do not store your card details.

How we use it

  • Solely to process your video and deliver the result, and to contact you about your order.
  • We do not sell your information, use your footage for marketing, or share it with third parties, except the service providers strictly needed to run the Service (e.g. payment and email providers).

Footage of children

Much of this footage features minors. We treat it accordingly: uploads are kept private, used only to create your video, and are never published or used for any other purpose. Only you receive the result.

Storage and retention

  • Your upload and finished video are stored privately. Your download link expires after 36 hours.
  • We delete uploaded and processed videos from active storage after they are no longer needed; files are not kept indefinitely.

Security

Your files are stored privately and are not publicly listed or shared. Download links are single-purpose and time-limited.

Your choices

You can ask us what we hold about you, or ask us to delete your video and details, by emailing accounts@jrddancemedia.com.
