Our sliding scale pricing allows studios of all sizes — from boutique schools to large academies — to offer beautiful, studio-style imagery without the complexity of individual parent sales.

The more dancers you photograph, the lower the per-student rate. Studios may add their own surcharge to cover venue hire, teacher posing time, administration, or to generate profit.

Timing
Photo Day structure
- Maximum 8 hours per day to maintain image quality, energy and turnaround standards
- Multi-day bookings incur a standard travel fee for each additional day
- Where possible, we recommend all dancers on the same day to minimise costs and simplify logistics
Teacher involvement
Posing & preparation
- Dancers who aren't confident posing will need teacher assistance
- Studios must have teachers present and ready to pose students as needed
- Pre-planning poses for younger or less experienced dancers helps avoid delays
Image quality
Action poses & jumps
- Jumps, leaps and action poses are allowed but not recommended
- Static poses produce the cleanest, sharpest results
- Action poses may require cropping and can slightly reduce image quality
Backdrop & space
On-location setup
- All portraits captured against a 6 × 6 metre professional white backdrop
- Please ensure adequate clear space is available if shooting at your premises
- We bring everything else — lighting, gear and backdrop system
Hands-off delivery with image hosting.
For studios who prefer a hands-off delivery option, we offer secure online hosting where JRD Dance Media sends gallery links directly to your families.
